NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ADOPTION OF PROPOSED

LOCAL LAW 2 OF 2026 TO PROHIBIT CAMPING OR SLEEPING IN TOWN PARKS, PUBLIC SIDEWALKS, STREETS, ALLEYWAYS OR OTHER PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Schroon Town Board will hold a Public Hearing on the 11^th day of May, 2026, beginning at 5:45p.m. at the Schroon Town Hall, 15 Leland Ave., Schroon Lake, New York, to consider adopting Local Law 2 of 2026 which would authorize the Town to prohibit camping or sleeping in/on town parks, public sidewalks, public streets, alleyways, or any other public right of way.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that all interested parties will be given the opportunity to be heard at this time and place.
